kigoma Airstrip

Kigoma Airport is responsible for monitoring and managing other airstrips in Kigoma region which are Kasulu, Kibondo, and Uvinza. However, Kasulu and Kibondo airstrips are operational to serve mainly refugees services from Burundi and Uvinza airstrip has been inoperative for a number of years but it has occasionally been serving non-commercial aircrafts (i.e. fumigation aircrafts, military helicopters, medical helicopters etc.).
